We often get asked (by people outside the construction and engineering world) what we do. So, I thought today, I would give a look into our world.
German toolmaker Mapal manufactures machining tools for the global automotive and aerospace industry. Their site in Fountain Inn is one of two facilities in the nation.
And it’s a cool project we got to work on,
Our part is an 11,000 square foot office addition, which will be Mapal North America headquarters. This was a simple project in which we took an existing site, added the building, revised the parking and modified the stormwater. We got this site permitted within timeframe to start construction when client desired. Other unique project features include a full second story mezzanine slab, an elevator, and a 2,400 square foot Airfoil sunshade at the front of the building to reduce the company’s carbon footprint.
