Storm Water / Utilities

Storm-Water-UtilitiesEach individual property owner is now required to control the volume of stormwater the project creates and to ensure the stormwater removes any pollutants which have been created by the project.  Each municipality has different rules and regualtions for water quality and water quantity control.  Over the past 30 years the United States EPA has implemented the Clean Water Act of 1972.  The National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit program has been implemented  and controls all of the discharges of stormwater to any surface water in the nation.  Industrial,  municipal, and other facilities require permits in order to discharge stormwater to any surface waters. Zuendt Engineering will walk you through the regulations and simplify the complicated permitting process for your next project.
