Christmas and Engineers

Santa Claus is a lot of things to a lot of different people. He is a saint. He is an elf. He is a toymaker extraordinaire. He is a mystical presence. He is a guy sitting at the local mall.

But to engineers, he is something else entirely. He is an engineer. Just like us. Sure, he may not have a degree or proper training, but, let’s face it, this guy has to be an engineer. A very good engineer. Let’s look at the facts.

  • Infrastructure: Santa Claus has developed a complex system where he can travel the entire globe in one night without being seen. That isn’t just magic. That is advanced work on supersonic speed, dampening effects and timetable organization.
  • Scheduling: Engineers measure twice, cut one. Santa Claus checks his list twice, delivers once.
  • Safety: This is near and dear to civil engineers such as the Zuendt team. Santa Claus is obviously as big a believer in safety control as are we. I mean, have you ever heard about Santa having an accident in all of these years?
  • The sleigh. Who else but an engineer would build, or could build, a supersonic sleigh?

So, there you have it. Now, not all engineers are like Santa, but we can tell you that if you hire the Zuendt team, you will get a firm that believes in honesty, hard work and trust. And that is a lot like the goals of Santa.
