One of our key tenants is giving back and serving the community. For example, our founder Alex Zuendt serves on the Advisory Council for the Golden Strip Trail, which is the next extension of the popular Prisma Health Golden Strip Trail.
You may have seen a story by Gabe Cavallaro on this trail recently as the City of Mauldin is gearing up for a key stage. From the article:
“Mauldin City Council this week voted to commit to the development of the trail, as well as a pedestrian bridge over Interstate 385. In a second vote, the council also agreed to an easement with Laurens Electric Cooperative and the company’s sub-station partner New Horizon that would provide a path for the trail to reach the interstate from East Butler Road.
A route hasn’t been finalized and no vote was taken on how much to spend on the project. “
