Zuendt Engineering has added Jessica Helmus as the team’s newest engineer in training.
Helmus graduated from Clemson University with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering in 2018. Throughout her college career, Helmus held positions on the Clemson University Civil Engineering Student advisory board, helping plan events to gain more interest in the college of civil engineering. Helmus was also the dialogue facilitator for all incoming Clemson students, leading sessions on diversity and inclusion as well as race and ethnicity.
“Jessica is going to be a great asset to the Zuendt team,” said Alexander Zuendt, CEO and founder of Zuendt Engineering. “She’s had quite a bit of experience and we are excited to see what new ideas she will bring to the table.”
Helmus most recently interned with John Rowan Design Inc., where she assisted in designing floor and site plans, presented plans to clients and visited potential sites. In addition, she got the opportunity to take part in the first steps of the renovation and design process for a house. In her spare time, Helmus is an active volunteer with Miracle Hill Ministries.
